GM 10-12 BOLT Passenger Car REAR DISC BRAKE BRACKET SET
All GM 10-12 bolt PASSENGER CAR Rear Ends. Rear disc brake brackets set. New, never installed. Made in the USA. Comes with hardware and instructions.
NOTE: These brackets will work with a staggered shock rear end as long as your rear end matches the requirements in our listing (bolt patterns and being a c-clip type). You just stagger the brackets.
Note: must use wheels (rims) made to clear disc brakes.
Use with 1980-1985 Cadillac Seville rear calipers and 1979 Trans Am rear rotors (11" rotors with 5 X 4 3/4 bolt pattern).
GM CHEVY 10 Bolt & 12 Bolt: Passenger Cars Only
Small Pattern (10 Bolt) (Must be C-clip Only).
THE most common GM pattern.: Mid-size, and most Chevy cars 1965 to 1979 and possibly some early 80's.
The 3-1/8 BY 2-7/16 BY 2-5/8 pattern which is- 3-1/8 (bolt-center to bolt-center) between the top two housing-end bolts holding on the backing plates, by 2-7/16 between the top bolt and bottom bolt (center-to-center), and 2-5/8 between the centers of the two bottom bolts.
Large Pattern (12 Bolt) (must be C-clip type ONLY).
Most Chevy Passenger Cars from 1965 to 1979 and possibly some early 80's.
The 3-3/8 BY 2-11/32 (or 2-5/8) pattern. This pattern sometimes uses the 3-3/8 measurement between the top two bolts or sometimes turns the "3-3/8 by 2-5/8" pattern 90 degrees so the 3-3/8 may be the top-to-bottom measurement.
NOTE- BOTH housings may have a measurement somewhere, that is close to 2-5/8. For quick I.D. you will need to know if the OTHER measurement is either 3-3/8 OR 3-1/8
NOTE: We highly recommend for all disc brake conversions, to have work done by an experienced 'old school' brake mechanic.
